Mari Morikawa

Research Associate

Mari Morikawa is a Research Associate within the Pacific Institute's Economic Globalization and Environment Program. Her current research focuses on international standards development relating to environmental and social issues. Before coming to the Pacific Institute, Ms. Morikawa worked with the Future 500/Global Futures Foundation on a corporate social responsibility assessment tool. She has also worked with the Silicon Valley Toxics Coalition on benchmarking corporate environmental reporting and the comparative evaluation of legislation relating to extended producer responsibility. Ms. Morikawa holds a Master's degree in Environmental Management from Yale University with a concentration in Industrial Environmental Management and she received a B. A. in Foreign Studies from Sophia University, Japan.
