Salton Sea Ecosystem Restoration Program Announces Statewide Public Workshops

SACRAMENTO/OAKLAND/SAN DIEGO -- The California Resources Agency, Department of Water Resources, and Department of Fish and Game, working with federal, state, and local officials in the Salton Sea Watershed, announce a series of statewide public workshops. These public workshops will provide an overview of the Draft Programmatic Environmental Impact Report (PEIR). The public is invited to attend and participate in the workshops. The Executive Summary and Draft PEIR are available at www.saltonsea.water.ca.gov. Please note that these are not formal public hearings to receive verbal comments on the Draft PEIR. Written comments will be accepted.
