For 12-year-old Magdalena, the impact not having clean drinking water has on health and education is well understood. While this young girl from the Quiche region of Guatemala has access to water in her home and school, this wasn't always the case. Magdalena is joined by over 1 billion people don't have access to clean drinking water worldwide, and more than 2 billion lack access to adequate sanitation.
As a result, millions die every year due to preventable water-related diseases.
